Winter Whispers
Her cheeks were red with cold, but she did not care at this juncture. The ice that covered the ground, snowflakes brushing against her face and unsuitably clad body was nothing compared to the ice inside her heart. If anything, the cold in her heart was worse, because the snow would melt when summer came with its bright sun, but nothing could thaw the layer of ice that seemed to be covering her heart.
she panted, resting with her hands on her legs. Shrugging her long, ebony hair from her face, she raised her flushed face to glance at her surroundings. She couldn't exactly place it, but a strange sense of deja vu, as if she had been here befo
